From consultancy to ongoing partnership
I was initially brought into an established business operating nationally that was facing serious financial and operational challenges.
I helped review and reduce monthly financial commitments, reduce staffing costs, change pricing and charging practices, improve customer service, improve the motivation of staff, change how services were delivered and improve the day-to-day running of the business.
What began as consultancy work developed into an ongoing contractor relationship, and I continue to work within the business today.

You can then decide whether you’d like to go ahead. The meeting can be by telephone or face-to-face, whichever works best for you.

By this point, you’ll have got to know me and how I work. If you feel your business would benefit from continued support, I’m available as and when you need me — from an occasional conversation to regular or more hands-on support.

A few things you might want to know.
Is the first conversation really free?
Yes. The first 30-minute conversation is free and gives you the opportunity to tell me what is going on in your business and for us to establish whether I may be able to help.
When does the work become chargeable?
My standard rate is £65 per hour. Nothing becomes chargeable until you have agreed the suggested next steps and likely cost. Any subsequent meeting or work is agreed with you beforehand.
Do I have to commit to ongoing support?
No. You may only need one chargeable meeting, occasional advice or a sounding board from time to time. Continued support is there if you want it.
Can we meet face-to-face?
Yes. Meetings can be by telephone or face-to-face, depending on what is most practical and appropriate.
What areas do you cover?
Shropshire and the Midlands are my main areas, but I am happy to work with businesses further afield. Meetings can be held by telephone, or I can travel to you where appropriate, with any additional travel time or expense agreed beforehand.
